It is made up of a synthetic version of vitamin A, which is more stronger than retinol.This requires a prescription due to it greater strength.

What is the difference between tretinoin and retinol?

Tretinoin is a more potent form of synthetic vitamin A. Whereas, retinol is a more natural form of vitamin A and so it’s more milder.

When is the best time to tretinoin?

Often we wonder when is the best time to use tretinoin in order to get the best results. The best time to use it is at night. This way the skin is protected from being exposed to the sun that can cause damage.  It is always best to use sunscreen during the day to protect the skin while being on tretinoin.

How much should I use?

The best is to follow the advice of the amount you need to sue from your skincare specialist or dermatologist. We often think that the more we apply does us more good. But this is not the case for tretinoin, little goes a long way.
