Plasma Skin Tightening (Fibroblasting)

What is Plasma Skin Tightening?

As we age we produce less collagen and lose elasticity producing sagging and wrinkling of the skin.
With the Plasma treatment it uses a probe that activates fibroblast in the dermis by heat. The fibroblast then begins to multiply and build to create newer stronger and healthier collagen.

What are the benefits of Plasma Treatment?

Plasma energy gives you immediate lift and dramatic skin tightening. A reduction in photoaging and superficial wrinkles. Helps with the following;-

  • Upper Eyelids
  • Crows Feet
  • Brow Lift
  • Lower Eyelids
  • Glabella
  • Forehead lift
  • Softening worry lines
  • Bunny lines
  • Tear troughs
  • Smoker lines
  • NeckLines / Turkey neck
  • Jowl/Jawline tightening
  • Marionette lines (the crease that folds from the corners of the mouth)

How does the Plasma Treatment Work?

A device that discharges electrical energy using energized gas from the fibroblast device to the skin’s surface. The process causes micro injury to the top layer of the skin and the energy pulse heats and disrupts the deeper dermal layer via thermal conduction which then causes micro injury. The procedure encourages the fibroblast to respond to the wound inducing new collagen.

What happens during Plasma Skin Tightening?

The skin is cleansed and numbing cream is applied. The treatment is then performed forming small dots scabs on the surface of the skin.

What is the down time?

As part of the recovery the small dots scab over.
Once the carbon crust has fallen off new skin will appear this may take 5-7 days. The full process of collagen remodeling takes 3 months as the dermis becomes more stronger and flexible.

How long does the Plasma Treatment Take?

The whole process with the numbing the treatment can take upto 2 hours.

Who should not get a Plasma Treatment?

People with darker skin color (African, African American, Latin, Native American, Indian, Middle Eastern, Asian, and people with mixed ethnicities are not good candidates as there is an increased risk of hyper or hypopigmentation.
