We tend to see bumps around the eyes and have no idea what to do. In order to understand what needs to be done, we need to understand what causes these bumps and wrinkles around the eyes.
What causes bumps and wrinkles around the eyes?
We know that the eye area is delicate and is the first area that shows signs of ageing. Signs of aging can include dark circles, puffiness, under eye bumps, lack of firmness and milia.
Bumps under the eyes is called milia. This is caused by applying heavy cream under the eye. This causes pores to become blocked or allergies that can trigger this. In order to treat this concern it is best to exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells and smooth the surface. Since the area is delicate and must be treated with care and under a skin professionals guidance.
What should I do?
- Do not pick the skin or squeeze the milia. As removing it can cause infection.
- Use a cleanser twice a day to get rid of impurities
- Get skincare treatments that actually help to reduce appearance of those bumps.
