What is Non- Invasive European Resurfacing?
European Resurfacing uses Collagen Induction Therapy to treat fine lines, acne scars and improve the overall skin’s texture, tone and color. This procedure increases cell turnover rate giving you a thicker dermis, which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. At the same time creating micro-channels for effective penetration of topical gels, creams and serums, enhancing their effects of youthful skin at the dermis level.
What are the benefits?
Reduces wrinkles, improves skin’s texture and tone giving you a radiant, softer and younger-looking skin. A new collagen production that reverses years of sun damage. At the same time treats hyper-pigmentation, hypo-pigmentation, acne scars, traumatic scars and stretch marks.
What areas of the body can I treat?European Resurfacing can be treated on all parts of the body; face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.
How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes 45 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
What is the downtime?
The skin is healed completely 24 hours after the treatment. We recommend using the Dermal Recovery System post treatment which will speed up the healing process.
When will I see the results?
Patients notice an immediate “glow” and tightening to their complexion after the first treatment. Further procedures result in changing the skin’s texture, tone, color, and tightening over the course of several weeks and continues to improve for up to 6 months as collagen and elastin production continues giving permanent results.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommended that most patients receive a series of 2-3 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, severe photo-aging, stretch marks, surgical scars or acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 6 weeks intervals, followed up by a once a year treatment for maintenance.
